Do y'all want me to post NSFW stuff here, or should I keep it as Bluesky exclusive?

Hey everyone! I wanted to shortened my username, so I decided on DGPlasm! DedicatedGhost was just too long as a signature on artwork and looked cluttered. Hope y'all like it!

Hey everybody! I decided that because I do like drawing nsfw sometimes, I want to upload them somewhere, but I want to keep my Newgrounds limited to relatively SFW portfolio material. People also tend to leave low ratings on my nsfw posts here, because y'all aren't used to me doing that, which I entirely understand. Thanks everybody! Also don't worry, I'm doing fine. As long as I keep things moderate. I was using nsfw work as an unhealthy coping mechanism before, but now I do it sometimes just because I want to.

It seems nowadays that every big tech company is stealing artists' work at this point to feed their datasets. Meta, Adobe, Apple, Deviantart, Epic Games/Artstation, they're all harvesting our work and spying on us with no way to truly opt out.

This is why I want to see Newgrounds make a resurgence in the art community as an AI-free safe haven. This is why I believe making little improvements to make it more open to a general audience is a must. (Things such as only showing suggested nsfw tags if the project is set to A rating, etc.)

We need to band together, and we need Newgrounds to be the shining light again for creators. It genuinely feels like my only hope at this point as an internet using artist. I can see a resurgence of this platform being in the spotlight, if we are smart about it.

Just wanted to say that I really love how welcomed I feel on Newgrounds. I don't know if I'll ever post art on Instagram or Twitter anymore. Over there it only cares about numbers, so it pushes the AI shit while your own work that you spent hours or even days on gets no attention. Newgrounds feels like a safe haven for me as an artist, you know.

If I had one suggestion, it would be good if typing tags on posts here didn't automatically show a bunch of nsfw ones. I feel that can leave a bad impression for artists who aren't interested in that stuff. (Some artists I know said that they thought Newgrounds was just a porn website.)

Maybe only have those tag suggestions appear when the Adult filter is enabled. I feel that Newgrounds can really become a shining light for more artists if some little improvements like that are made.

I started taking thyroid health supplements, and I'll get my thyroid checked soon hopefully. I definitely think personally that it's one of the main issues I've been dealing with. I feel like I can relax now finally, so I'm just enjoying it.

I'm sorry, I had kind of a mental breakdown this morning. It's been a year or so since that last happened, idk. I just need some love and encouragement I guess. It's just hard sometimes, like I almost feel guilty for just existing. But you all make it better. Thank you. <3

I'm thinking about just leaving Instagram and Twitter entirely, or stopping posting there. I'm getting negativity from friends and such towards my sexier art, plus all the AI data scraping crap on Instagram. It's just really souring my mood. Plus I feel glued to those platforms in order to see the numbers grow n crap. I'm just done with it. :( I just want to make art in peace without being punished for it.
